Our country is going to go through the process of nationalization of the banking system and perhaps nationalization of other industries as determined by the elitist Washington leaders. I have spent hundreds of hours researching and asking myself “How could the good people of this country allow this to happen to America, land of the free?” “How can we so freely give up our Liberty that the founders fought so hard for?”
In response to the proposal Economic Recovery Act, millions of people have spoken out both for and against this bill, 95% against was reported. I have written hundreds of emails and made several phone calls in my attempt to try and stop the passage of the largest spending bill in the history of the US. But alas, the debt ceiling has been increased to more than 13 Trillion dollars, which is a mere $47,000 owed by every man, woman, and child in the USA (not including interest)… and as we go forward I am sure our current leadership will continue to raise this debt ceiling as needed…until total dollar collapse. We have a fiat currency and it will fail because it never worked in the past, and it will not work now.
Well, perhaps people are just too comfortable, or too busy, or believe that it does not matter… Washington will do whatever they want regardless of the people’s wishes. I received only a couple of response from all my emails and calls…. So it gives me the impression that they really don’t care what I think. Perhaps some of us are not seeing the big picture of what is happening. It’s called SLAVERY and/or Peonage. I find it humorous that Obama who aligns himself with Lincoln becomes the new Lincoln whose actions move to enslave every citizen of this once great country. This is change I can believe in!!!
We are headed down a slippery slope and there will be no return to the prosperity in this country for at least10 years and perhaps 20 years ….and perhaps it is lost forever. The Washington spending spree is only the beginning ….here is a partial response of a letter I received from Mark Udall’s office of Colorado on the passage of the spending bill:
“Please know that the economic recovery bill likely will be only the first in a series of actions that Congress must take to stabilize our economy. There will be further policy proposals designed to help solve evolving economic conditions. As I participate in these discussions, and as the current economic recovery bill is implemented over the next many months, you can be sure that my staff and I will keep your suggestions and concerns in mind. My job is not merely about supporting or opposing legislation. It is also about bridging ideological divides and bringing people together to solve problems. I welcome your letters and e-mails and always listen closely to what you and other Coloradans have to say about matters before Congress, the concerns of our communities, and the issues facing our state and nation. For more information about my positions, please visit my website at http://www.markudall.senate.gov/. Thank you again for contacting me.”
I wanted to point out that the words bridging ideological divides. I googled the phrase and found 113,000 references … many like this:
Latin America sees Obama bridging ideological divide
RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Barack Obama’s historic election victory spread optimism in Latin America on Wednesday that the new U.S. president will narrow an ideological divide with the region and end years of U.S. neglect or hectoring. ….
But the first black U.S. president is a potent symbol in a region with its own history of racial oppression, and his victory has raised hopes of an easing of rocky U.S. ties with socialist governments in Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia.
“Obama is a man who comes from discriminated and enslaved sectors,” said Evo Morales, Bolivia’s first indigenous Indian president, who kicked out the U.S. ambassador in September and last week suspended U.S. anti-drug operations in his country.”
I am not sure … but I think I got it now… All us socialists will get along just fine now… Kum ba Ya…. Kum Ba Ya… Funny thing …. I was searching the constitution and Federalist papers and such … but I couldn’t find the ideological divide called socialism… anywhere in any of the founder’s documents.
What I did find was something to the effect… Our nation was formed as a Republic… one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. I don’t understand how there can be an ideological divide…except that our country and it has been stolen from we the people. Let’s just relax and watch some dancing with the stars or American idol.
The 13th amendment: AMENDMENT XIII
Passed by Congress January 31, 1865. Ratified December 6, 1865.
Note: A portion of Article IV, section 2, of the Constitution was superseded by the 13th amendment.
Section 1.Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
I looked up some references to peonage … Webster-Merriman online says of Peonage:
1 a: the use of laborers bound in servitude because of debt
b: a system of convict labor by which convicts are leased to contractors
2: the condition of a peon
Involuntary Servitude
Refers to a person held by actual force, threats of force, or threats of legal coercion in a condition of slavery – compulsory service or labor against his or her will. This also includes the condition in which people are compelled to work against their will by a “climate of fear” evoked by the use of force, the threat of force, or the threat of legal coercion (i.e., suffer legal consequences unless compliant with demands made upon them)
Offenses against the Thirteenth Amendment have not been prosecuted since 1947.
Prior to 1988, inflicting involuntary servitude through psychologically coercive means was included in the interpretation of the Thirteenth Amendment. In United States v. Kozminski, 487 U.S. 931 (1988), the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the Thirteenth Amendment did not prohibit compulsion of servitude through psychological coercion.Psychological coercion had been the primary means of forcing involuntary servitude in the case of Elizabeth Ingalls in 1947. However, the Court held that there are exceptions. The court decision circumscribed involuntary servitude to be limited to those situations when the master subjects the servant to
(1) threatened or actual physical force,
(2) threatened or actual state-imposed legal coercion or
(3) fraud or deceit where the servant is a minor, an immigrant or mentally incompetent.
The federal anti-slavery statutes were updated in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, P.L. 106-386, which expanded the federal statutes’ coverage to cases in which victims are enslaved through psychological, as well as physical, coercion.
Free versus unfree labor
Labor is defined as work of economic or financial value. Unfree labor or labor not willingly given, is obtained in a number of ways:
causing or threatening to cause serious harm to any person;
physically restraining or threatening to physically restrain another person;
abusing or threatening to abuse the law or legal process;
knowingly destroying, concealing, removing, confiscating or possessing any actual or purported passport or other immigration document, or any other actual or purported government identification document, of another person;
blackmail;
causing or threatening to cause financial harm [using financial control over] to any person.
Just some thoughts…. Congress did not even take the time to read the biggest pork spending bill of all history… I mean Recovery Act of 2009. Seems to me that spending and printing trillions of dollars is a serious threat to US citizens and anyone else that holds dollar bills…. Is this not a violation of the 13th amendment? Many of us are certainly being forced to work to pay this debt against our will!
This whole foreign banker takeover fiasco is nothing short of economic terrorism and the persons involved should have their bank accounts and assets siezed and each charged with treason. If you or I operated Ponzi schemes like these Foreign Banker Barons, we would be locked up for 100 years. Or perhaps there exists two sets of laws… one for us peons and one for our elitist leaders!
